We are so pleased to announce that PATH Neuropsychology has partnered with Cincinnati CARE (Community Aging Resource Experts) to serve CARE’s mission of promoting healthy and functional lives for older adults. It’s an excellent collaboration, as both PATH Neuropsychology and CARE maintain the values of independence, quality of life, respect, and dignity in serving the Cincinnati community of older adults and their families.
CARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families with the resources and support necessary to enhance quality of life throughout the aging process. CARE maintains a well-developed panel of local professionals and experts across various fields providing guidance in: financial wellness throughout retirement; estate planning; understanding healthcare options; end-of-life and funeral planning; downsizing or modifying homes; senior living communities; real-estate issues; health and safety; detection of Alzheimer's disease; management of dementia; caregiver assistance; and more. We are honored to join this panel as neuropsychologists, and to add our expertise in brain health and its impact on memory and thinking.
CARE is currently offering five eight-week educational seminars across the Cincinnati area. The seminars are free and open to the public (registration required). They are hosted by Hope Church and St. Susanna Church in Mason; Mason Senior Center; Faith United Methodist Church in West Chester; and Liberty Station Health Campus. (A sixth similar just concluded at St. Michael Church in Cincinnati). Each week focuses on an area of importance throughout the aging process, with experts sharing presentations and knowledge with attendees. Complimentary educational materials are also available for reference and to share.
